He showed successfully in both the hunters and the jumpers (ridden by Patty Heukeroth and Katie Monahan). His kindness, conformation and willingness to please is apparent in his offspring, which include Hats off to Hattie, the winner of the 1998 Reserve Champion of the Midwest IHF three-year-old division. Perrel is also the sire of Swashbuckler, winner of the 1999 inaugural two-year-old under saddle class at the IHF finals. |
